Sayed Mojtaba, the son of Sayed Ramezan was born in Sari City on December 31st, 1966. He left school at the second grade of high school. He joined Basij at the age of 17 years old on February 18th, 1984. He went to Manjil Garrison in order to pass training courses. After some time, he was transferred to Kordestan, Ahvaz and Haft- tappeh as the head of Salman Company of Moselm Battalion.
He participated at “Karbala 1”?, “Karbala 5”?, “Karbala8”?, “Karbala 10”?, “Valfajr 8”? and “Valfajr 10”? operations. He was injured several times in these operations. He put on the holy dress of Sepah (The Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution) on July 7th, 1987. Due to several times of injury during sacred defense, he lost his spleen and a part of his intestine. He became badly sick every year since almost beginning of the winter till December 31st. And it was due to neural and microbial migraine in his throat. During last months of war Sayed Mojtaba established “Bani Fatemeh Heyat”? (Heyat means council or committee where people gather for a special purpose. They also hold religious ceremonies and mourning ceremonies in Moharram and Safar Months) and visited respected families of martyrs in area of District 8 with Basiji people of “Basij Resistance Base of Martyrs of District 8”?. They aimed at preserving values of sacred defense. He also established “Imam Khomeini Followers Heyat”? and visited martyrs’ families in Sari City. Sayed was one of the main persons in that “Heyat”?. He started the mourning ceremonies of the “Heyat”? during Moharram and Safar Months with “Ziarat Ashoura”? (A special prayer for Imam Hossein) and concluded the ceremony with praise of “Imam Hossein”?.

He was concerned about establishing a stable association for ceremonies of the “Heyat”? till last days of his life. To this end and in cooperation with members of the “Heyat”? he could obtain a place in which they can build “Beit-ol Zahra”?. He recited religious poems and elegies in “Great Mosque of Emam-zadeh Yahya”?, “Imam Khomeini Mosalla”? (Mosalla is a place in which public prayers are said), “Beit-ol Zahra”?, “Karbala Lovers Heyat”? and houses of martyrs’ families. Sayed devoted most of his life to “Maddahi”? (Praising imams and reciting elegies on religious occasions). He loved Imam Hossein and Imam Zaman (The 12th imam of Shiite) and Imam Hassan Mojtaba. He always praised them and recited elegies on different religious occasions. In addition to “Maddahi”?, he sometimes taught it to his friends and the people around him.
Due to chemical injuries, Sayed was hospitalized in “Isolation Ward”? of the hospital in late December 1999. He opened his eyed at Azan Maghreb time (Sunset) on January 30th, 2000 after one week of full unconsciousness. He said goodbye and whispered “Ash’had”? (What Muslims say before they die.). He was buried at noon of
the following day. His “Maddahi”? tapes are available for lovers of imams. Elegy for Hazrat Zahra is one of his most famous tapes. At the beginning of this tape he speaks about memories of battle fields while a flute is played. May his soul be glad and may his way be continued.
It should be mentioned that he started working at “Operation Information Unit”? in “Division 25 Karbala”? of Sari after finishing war. He married Ms Sayedi in January 1997. His child was born on December 28th of the following year.
